Seasons
SEASON ONE
5 Episodes • Aired 2020-06-01
Season 1 is largely slice of life and focuses on how the humans of Bigtop Burger deal with Steve's antics. Episode 4 also establishes Zomburger and their rivalry with Bigtop Burger. The finale teases the fact that Steve is a genuine clown while the others on his staff are just humans wearing clown makeup.
SEASON TWO
5 Episodes • Aired 2021-06-11
In season 2, both Bigtop Burger and Zomburger attend the Food Truck Expo (FTX), a convention dedicated to food trucks. The humans of both trucks get personally acquainted, with the Zomburger employees revealing that their malicious behavior was just a bit of character work for their zombie gimmick. Cesare, under the pretense of making peace with Steve, offers him three gifts over the course of the day, which turn out to be magic kettlebells in disguise. They weigh Steve down enough for Cesare to capture him, sending him to an Underworld prison cell. It becomes apparent that Cesare, unlike the others of Zomburger, is genuinely undead. In the Underworld, Steve remembers his past: he was banished from his clown homeworld after fumbling his performance in Cats. He landed on Earth circa 375 million BCE and laid dormant underground for millions of years before finally emerging in the modern era.
