Suek Saneha Kraithong Chalawan is based on popular Thai folklore "Kraithong " which spoke about the tale of a fierce Crocodile King "Chalawan," who had a crush on the daughters of a wealthy man—Tapaokaew and Tapaothong. In his desire to obtain the two beautiful girls, he kidnapped both of them and brought them to his palace underwater. The crocodile king was unforgiving and unbeatable. Nobody could defeat him or shake his power. That is... until Kraithong arrived. Kraithong, the fearless warrior defeated the crocodile king and saved the two sisters. Later, the two sisters married him as well.
