The Department of Control of Endangered Cases of the S. Unit, known by the acronym OKTOPUS, is once again at work. Captain Dítě (Miroslav Krobot), Captain Fáberová (Marika Šoposká) and Colonel Schwarz (Kryštof Hádek) return in the second season of the successful detective series directed by Jan Pachla to solve another twelve postponed mysteries. The search will take them deep into the past of the 1990s, when Dítě started out as a young police officer, as well as into contemporary Berlin, the Prague underworld and the corners of warehouses on the outskirts. One case will bring them to the Elbe River itself, another will reveal the secret of a girls' boarding school, they will find themselves among war veterans and at a sawmill in the Vysočina.
