Ten years later, an amnesiac young orphan named Teito and his best friend Mikage are attending Barsburg Imperial Military Academy, dreaming of becoming officers. Teito is plagued by disturbing dreams of Laggs Castle just before the fall... Of a man who speaks to him of his “true mission,” and an enemy wielding a blood-drenched sword...
