Based on Gao Ming's 2010 book "Genius on the Left, Lunatic on the Right," Letv's 2015 web series "Alpha Beta" delves into the complexities of mental illness. During her assessment at Shi Hui's facility, Tian Xin reveals a remarkable talent for soothing a volatile patient. Consequently, Shi Hui decides to harness Tian Xin's unique ability to assist in the treatment of other patients burdened by their traumatic pasts and internal struggles.
