Heo Min-ho

Heo Min Ho is a South Korean triathlete. He graduated from Dong Seoul University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education. He began training when he was in 3rd grade and his coaches were impressed with his athleticism that they though he could go to the Olympics at some point in his life. He is a classmate of VIXX's Leo and both challenged each other in soccer during elementary school. He won many medals at the Asian Games, Junior Asian Championships, and Asian Championships. He then competed in the men's event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London when triathlon became an official Olympic sport but, because it was not well-known in the country, he attended the Olympic Games without a coach or any representative from the South Korean delegation and finished in last place. He did not qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and later suffered from depression as he evaluated his future. In 2021, he competed in the Goseong Triathlon Championships and at the end, decided to retire from competition as his back has suffered many injuries and cannot bend normally due to the extreme endurance that triathlon requires. He now works as a commentator for MBC Sports and also appears in variety shows.
