Ian Alfaras was born in 2005 in Butuan City, Philippines. He is a Filipino filmmaker known for his work as a writer, director, producer, and editor. Based in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, his short films often explore social issues through narratives that contrast youthful idealism with realist perspectives.

His works frequently experiment with unconventional storytelling styles and blend elements of drama, horror, satire, and thriller.
