Biography
Zhang Hao (章昊; born July 25, 2000) is a Chinese singer, violinist, actor, and performer. He is a member of the South Korean boy group AND2BLE (앤더블 / エンダブル) and a former member of ZEROBASEONE, whose contract concluded in early 2026 after approximately 2.5 years of activity. He gained international recognition after winning the survival show Boys Planet (2023), becoming the first non-Korean contestant to rank first in the program’s history.
Born in Fujian, China, Zhang initially pursued a science-focused academic track, consistently ranking among the top students during his secondary education. He was admitted to the China University of Geosciences before shifting his focus to music. In 2018, he ranked first in Fujian province in the national college entrance examination for arts students and later graduated in musicology from Fujian Normal University in 2024. He also obtained a teaching certification in music education. His formal training includes violin, cello, viola, and piano, and he performed with a university orchestra.
He trained under Yuehua Entertainment for approximately 15 months before participating in Boys Planet, where he gained attention for his vocal stability, musical precision, and performance consistency, leading to his first-place finish and debut activities.
Following his group promotions, Zhang expanded his career into acting, including a role in To the Moon, alongside his continued musical work.
In addition to his group activities, Zhang Hao has been recognized for his work as a soloist. At the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards (2024), he received the OST Popularity Award, becoming the first fifth-generation K-pop idol to win in that category.
Known for his classical music background and versatility, Zhang is noted for his clear vocal tone, technical control, and expressive delivery across a range of musical styles.
