Biography

He Ying Ying is a Singaporean actress discovered on campus to join a Singapore TV talent reality show in 2015. She emerged as one of the top three contestants and clinched the "Audience Choice Best Smile Award" with her beautiful smile.

Ying Ying is passionate about dancing. She started ballet at the age of three and performed at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She also learnt different dance genres, such as jazz, contemporary, and Chinese dance.

Ying Ying made her acting debut in 2016 as the female lead in the Run Rachael Run web series. Her outstanding performance in Run Rachael Run won her the "Best Leading Actress" nomination at the Bilbao Web Fest 2016 in Spain.

After taking on the role of a wilful young adult in the TV series Hero (2016), Ying Ying continued to impress in the long-running 218-episodes TV series 118 Season 2 as a hare-brained waitress in 2017. She won the Star Awards "Best Newcomer" nomination in 2018. The same year, Ying Ying received a role in the TV series A Million Dollar Dream, acted alongside Singapore renowned artistes Zoe Tay and Chen Hanwei. The series received the highest viewership in that year. In 2019, Ying Ying attained her first Star Awards "Best Supporting Actress" nomination for her role in A Million Dollar Dream. Later that year, Ying Ying acted alongside renowned actress Fann Wong in the TV series Walk With Me.
