Biography
Donna Jordan is an American model (and former actress) born in 1950. She has appeared in various fashion magazines, such as Vogue Italia & Paris and has been photographed by photographers such as Guy Bourdin & Helmut Newton. Discovered in 1967, by Antonio Lopez, and becoming one of 'Antonio's girls'. She is also associated with being a muse of Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent and Andy Warhol, the latter launching her acting career with L'amour (1973, shot in 1970) which co-starred close friend (and fellow Warhol Superstar) Jane Forth, as well as Karl Lagerfeld. After becoming disillusioned with the scene, she floated around Europe, partaking in modelling jobs in europe, before finally settling down in Milan and opening a boutique and becoming an editor for Glamour Italia. She eventually returned to America, opening a organic food store.
