Guillaume Brodeur

This season marks a big change for 41 year-old Quebec City native Guillaume Brodeur. After years of being Ken Foy’s right hand man Guillaume is now Ken’s equal partner. Taking a job elsewhere with a steady paycheque would have been the safer option, but Guillaume’s dreaming of a big score, a windfall that would set him and his family up for life. During the mining season Guillaume lives in Dawson City with his wife Lisa and two young daughters Alexi and Chloe. While Guillaume’s gold mining efforts this season are scaled back to just him and Ken, the challenges are even greater. Unaccustomed to taking financial risks, Guillaume finds himself in unfamiliar territory and must deal with the added responsibility and pressure that comes with his partnership.
