Biography

Yuki Yoshida (吉田 友紀, born Tomonori Yoshida; real name: Tomonori Kamoshida) is a former Japanese actor born on August 4, 1966, in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Fujimori High School and comes from a family involved in the entertainment industry—his father, Kazuo Kamoshida, was a renowned suit actor in tokusatsu series like Kaiketsu Lion Maru and Tetsujin Tiger Seven.

Yoshida began his career as a child actor, joining the Nihon Jido Gekidan theater troupe in 1970 and making his debut in the 1971 TV drama Ai no Honoo. He appeared in numerous children's and tokusatsu programs during the 1970s, including roles in Ultraman Leo (1974) as Momotaro, Denshi Jin Zaborger (1974), and series like G Men '75 (1978).

His breakthrough came in 1979 when he landed the lead role of Sakurama Chotaro in the popular TV series Ore wa Abare Hacchak, which he reprised in later installments, earning acclaim for his mature performances as a young actor. In 1988, he transitioned to adult roles with his first leading part as Takeda Masaya/Jupiter in Dennō Keisatsu Cyber Cop. Other notable works include supporting roles in dramas, films such as Kozoku (1973) and Ore wa Otoko da! Kanketsu-hen (1987), and original videos like Mikadoroid (1991).

Yoshida's last confirmed acting appearance was in 2009. He is considered retired from the industry and maintains an Instagram account (@pesca2010).
